The Curious George Movie is scheduled to release on Feb 10 2006. Based on the popular book series that habe been around and have enchanted readers for more than 60 years, the new Curious George animated movie will feature the voice talent of Will Ferrell as the Man in the Yellow Hat. 27 Million Curious George titles have been sold worldwide and have been published in more than 14 languages making the little monkey who left the jungle with the man in the yellow hat one of the best selling and most endearing characters in childrens literature. In fall 2006, an animated Curious George preschool series will be launched. The show which will incorporate early childhood science and math educational content will draw upon George's curiosity driven adventures to tell stories that encourage children to explore their own environments, and taches the ways objects, machines, people and animals interact and act.
Curious George Toys:
The Curious George toy line will include action figures, playsets and vehicles. Plans to have Curious George Novelty Figures, Animatronics, Role Playing Curious George Toys, preschool matching memory games, infant Curious George Toys, and Curious George plush toys including a Curious George themed plush with a book are to be made available.
