Roboraptor
Guide Rating -

The Bottom Line
For a toy dinosaur, Roboraptor sure looks amazing. With the remote control, you can make the Roboraptor go forward, backward, left or right. The fun begins in the "roam mode", where the Roboraptor moves on its own and senses objects around itself. Based on whichever mode it is set on, the Roboraptor responds differently to stimuli. However, one wishes that it's abilities were more advanced. It doesn't impress as much as the Robosapien did. But overall, it is an interesting and unique toy.

Guide Review - Roboraptor from Wow Wee - A Review
The talk of the town this year, Wowee's Roboraptor is a sight to behold. White with gray stripes, the Roboraptor's bloodshot blue eyes chill and thrill! The remote control can be used to make the beast move forward, backward, and turn left and right. The roboraptor can even roar, sniff and bite. The fun begins in the "roam mode". After a few minutes of inactivity, the Roboraptor starts roaming around and sensing objects and sounds. If it is in the hunting mode, the reptile will behave aggressively, and move towards the object. The cautious mode makes the roboraptor shy away from noises and other stimuli. In the playful mode, the Roboraptor toys with the object/noise, moving towards and away from it.
It is a powerful feeling to control this awesome beast. Kids will have a great time making the Roboraptor do various things. However, it's sensing abilities need some improvement. A few more functions need to be added in order to make this toy more interesting. In all fairness, it is a toy after all, and not a full fledged robot. Keeping that in mind, the Roboraptor performs pretty well and offers many hours of interesting play.
