Guide Review - Cranium Whoonu - A Fun Filled Family Game From Cranium

Cranium Whoonu is a classic "Guessing The Favorite Thing" kind of game which provides fun for the entire family. Whoonu is perfect for family get-togethers or after dinner fun.

3 - 6 people can play Whoonu. The game is nicely packaged in a tin box, with 2 decks of Whoonu cards, and 6 piles of tokens, numbered 1 through 6. There is also a Whoonu envelope into which the players have to insert their chosen cards.

The aim of the game is to collect the maximum number of points. A round of Whoonu takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes. A player is chosen as the "Whoozit". The other players are dealt with 4 Whoonu cards each. Each card has an activity or thing on it like "going for a walk" or "coffee" for example. Each players has to choose 2 cards that are the Whoozit's favorite activities or things, and place it in an envelope without showing it to anyone. After all the players are done, the Whoozit goes through the cards, and awards them points with 1 point going to the least favorite card, and 6 points going to the most favorite card. Players all claim their points via the tokens. Another Whoozit is chosen and the game moves on. The winning player is the one with the most points at the end of all the rounds.

As you can see, Cranium Whoonu is very clean cut and simple. There's no sort of manipulation or analysis required. For some this may be a disadvantage, if you are looking for a challenging game. Whoonu is a good game for kids and adults to play together on the same level.
